Landed here in my hot air balloon this morning and couldn't be more impressed with the service from the tower to the terminal! From the moment I made contact with the tower, to the hot coffee and warm smiles waiting in the terminal, my passengers and I were treated like true guests. We even got to take a peek inside the tower! What a great day and many firsts for me as a pilot. First airport landing, first airport to airport flight, first tower tour. Amazing! Thanks to all who made this a fantastic day!
Awesome airport! Runway in great condition. Friendly staff and controller! Stopped there for cheap fuel ($5.00) and bathroom break. Would definitely still there again
Great place to watch airplanes
This is probably my favorite 😍 airport in the area. I've always had great service with FBO office and the people I've dealt with have always been kind and considerate.
Huge nuisance to everyone that lives in the surrounding area. If you decide to fly from here, please be mindful of the time at which you are doing so. Know that you are contributing to a bad sound pollution problem in a very populated area, and you are the reason I cannot enjoy a moment of peace and quiet in my own back yard, save for when the weather is bad enough to keep people from flying. Takeoff/landing training means that I am subjected to a constant stream of noise, and this training apparently has to take place earlier and later when it is hot. It has been hot. Lately, I have noticed them starting as early as 6AM and going as late as MIDNIGHT. It is VERY DISRESPECTFUL to the surrounding community. I have lived here for a year and a half and actually enjoy seeing an occasional plane flying over, but lately it has been non-stop. If I cannot currently hear a plane, I am nearly guaranteed to hear one in the next 2-3 minutes. I am often able to hear multiple airplanes at once. I cannot have a conversation with my next door neighbor, hear an audiobook in headphones while in my back yard or even sleep some nights and mornings. I called to ask if they had any available information about when training days or high-traffic days are planned and they said they do not. If there was ANY information available to the public I'd be a lot less salty but they do not seem to give the public any thought whatsoever.
