Million Air Austin new, exciting and welcoming FBO for general aviation on the south end of Austin Airport. Million Air welcomes aircraft of all sizes offering Jet A as well as Avgas and the site has more than 120,000 square feet of hangars space. Each of the seven hangars are between 16,000 and 20,000 square feet in size. They invite you to experience Million Air Austin!
This could be my favorite FBO! Plenty of space, great service, and free drinks to boot.
I reserve five stars for FBOs like Texas Jet at Meecham in Texas near Fort Worth. They set the bar very high that being said, Million Air is probably the second best FBO out there. With always fresh hot coffee, very nicely, appointed common areas, clean bathrooms, and some snacks. They all are very consistent in their presentation and service. If I could suggest a couple things that I would like to see there, they would be, a massage chair for pilots coming in after a long haul. two, something more substantive to eat other than chips and soda. As a sidenote, the recliners in the pilot sleep lounges are not the most comfortable. I’d prefer something where you could lay down flat. Just my two cents. Other than that, these FBOs will make an impression on those traveling with you. They are definitely a level above. You’ll feel special, just utilizing their facilities.
I love Million Air, probably my favorite FBO company. Always have great service from the line guys to the front desk. The crew cars are always above standard no matter which location you go to. This and the other locations are like the chick fil a of the FBO industry.
The service is good, plentiful amenities and CAA fuel cheap. Be advised: DON’T rent a car through Hertz here! Received many unpleasant surprises from the car rental company here. Turned in vehicle on 7-7-24 in the morning, left in my company aircraft 440EH to bring our plane back to home base (St. Louis). Even after proving to Hertz that we actually refilled the vehicle, drove on no toll roads, they marked the vehicle as returned on 7-10 and I received a surprise $155 toll bill in the mail, $500+ in extra day charges, and also was charged $107 for ten gallons of gas when we returned it 100% full! Please management, fix this, otherwise we can’t base there anymore!
Really nice FBO, great coffee/drink bar, lots of seating and clean bathrooms. Easy access to Austin for food if you get delayed by the ATC.
